Where can I buy electronic components for soldering?
I have recently bought a soldering iron, because I would like to take electronics up as a hobby, but I have no idea where I could buy the electronic components (wires, motors, etc).

I’ve used the sites below. They have a wide selection and I’ve never had any problems with shipment, etc. You can also look for a local electronics distributors, something like Norvac Electronics or United Radio Supply. I honestly wouldn’t use Radio Shack. Their parts are very iffy. I’ve bought things there that simply didn’t work. They looked like floor sweepings yet were in sealed packages.

pace is a real good company. they have solder units that will handle about anything electronic you get into. the units have irons, board vacummes, hot tweezers, solder suckers, controlable temp, time, and sleep modes and a whole lot more.
