Do you like exploring and having an adventure in the city and would love to take your babies along with you? Thanks to the Jane Powertwin Pro Tandem pushchair now its made possible and easy because of its all terrain capability.
Jane Powertwin Pro Pushchair: The Pros
The great feature you will love about this pushchair is that it is adaptable to both toddlers and newborn. The capacity of the stroller is 15kg. This is great for 2 toddlers or two newborns. Although you will need to buy a car seat if you want to use it for your newborn.
Because it’s a tandem pushchair, you wouldn’t have to worry about whether or not it will fit through doors which is a common dilemma of users of twin pushchairs.
The Powertwin comes with an elasticated, easily-removable raincover with opening flaps on the front and sides to prevent suffocation.
The padded soft-grip handlebar is easily adjustable from 96 to 107 cm and has got a bike-style brakes for the front wheel, making it so much more convenient to control and slow down the pram when you’re on a steep down hills or walkways.
Each of the 2 hoods has a viewing window and easily adjusts to several positions. The hood of the rear seat also has pockets handy for storing your purse, keys or phone.
What is great about this baby stroller is the many component it comes with. 5-point padded harness, removable and washable seat padding, adjustable leg support, head support, and a shopping basket underneath with reflective strips for greater visibility when it’s dark outside.
The front wheel swivels, is lockable, and as mentioned earlier it’s controlled by you via a bike-style handbrake. The front wheel is actually removable too just like the rear wheels, however it is not advisable that you remove it because it’s difficult to put back on and ensure the handbrake works properly.
All the wheels are pneumatic air tyres, so your tandem comes with a pump. The foot brakes for the rear wheels are located just above the rear wheels and is easily applied and taken off. You also have suspension for the rear wheels and yes they are removable handy for making storage less of an issue.
When folding the tandem pushchair, always remember to to fix both seats on upright position and pop your front seat’s hood forward. This must be done so as not to cause damage to the pushchair. Folding is easy and simple and would require you to use both hands.
Jane Powertwin Pro Tandem Pushchair: The Cons
One thing that you might dislike is that the front wheel protrudes when folded.
Because it’s a twin pushchair, there’ll be problems inherent to it such as being harder to steer than single buggies, harder to fold, it will be bigger and heavier and so will be more difficult to lift, store, or use for public transport.
One must be fit to maneuver the Powertwin pushchair. Since it is bulky, it might be hard to mount curbs and rounding tight corners might be a problem. This is of course common in most twin pushchairs.
Even though there is a re design and improvement for the Power twin Pushchair, it maybe possible that the baby’s feet seated at the front, if long may touch the floor when they doze off.
