I am looking for the official website for Calterm Electronics?

Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010

Can’t seem to find the official website for Calterm Electronics, all I seem to get in search results is distributors.

This is the best I can do, as it’s not a publicly held company:

Industrial Electronic Repair
6420 University Pkwy
Rural Hall NC 27045
1-(336)-377-3143

You can post a question there. It’s a bit strange that this company is in the tech industry but doesn’t seem to have a proper Website.

Electronic Parts & Components Online by Beganto

Tuesday, June 1st, 2010

http://www.buy-electronicparts.com is a shopping portal which allows engineers to buy electronic parts from distributors. The portal has all types of distributors and manufacturers, big or small on its board, and also the portal helps the electronics design engineers in their design projects. Around 500 suppliers and 50 distributors have already started using this new electronic components market place.

The portal is designed in a way that it is very easy to browse and parts are displayed in a categorized manner.

Users can reach to their desired components by browsing:

* Product Categories
* Suppliers
* Distributors

Also users can search their desired components by:

* Keywords
* Part Numbers

Browsing
Browsing through the portal is very easy and requires no training, as the products are displayed in a categorized manner. The products can be browsed by product categories, product names, supplier names, or distributor names. Each category helps the users to reach to the most relevant and required components in minimum steps. Once users reach the required component, they can be directly added to the shopping cart for checkout.

Searching
Engineers can use the search functionality to find parts they are looking for. Search is easy and simple, and works for key words and part numbers. The advanced search allows the users to select a supplier or search parts across all available suppliers entering a keyword or part number. They can also mention their country of delivery, in stock and RoHS attributes before search. This enables them to have most relevant results for their search.

The search results are articulated in an easy to understand manner and provide the information about the parts that is needed to enable users to decide which parts to order. The results show the name of the suppliers, the distributors from which the searched parts are available, whether these parts are RoHS compliant or not, description of the parts, stock, and price-breaks etc.

Ordering
When users find the required components, either by searching or browsing, they can add required parts to the shopping cart by entering the quantity they need.

The users can then use the shopping cart to edit/update the quantity and select the shipping method. Cost of the parts is also displayed accordingly, as calculated. A unique facility of the system is that users are not required to be registered users of the system, though if they are registered (who will obviously have better privileges), can login into the system before giving payment and delivery details.
The users can pay using credit or debit cards. A confirmation receipt of the order is provided to the users. The shopping cart uses SSL security certificates in order to give the users maximum security while transacting over the Internet.

Tracking
Users can track the orders using the Check Order Status utility. The system allows the users to track the orders in real time, shipment through delivery.

With the launch of this new portal, www.buy-electronicparts.com, Beganto has further firmed its commitment to the industry. It reflects the ongoing efforts being made by Beganto to equip the electronics industry with innovative solutions. This new portal would not only be useful for distributors and suppliers but is envisioned to be extremely popular among the 50,000+ design engineers registered to use the Need-A-Sample system.

Looking for help finding a REAL wholesale distributor of consumer electronics?

Monday, May 31st, 2010

I have my S Corp established, my Tax ID, my resale license, etc. I am looking for a REAL distributor of consumer electronics such as Xbox360, Wii, Ipods, Plasma TV’s ,etc.

I have come across nothing but sites that say wholesale, but they are either selling non-name brand stuff are are simply charging retail.

Can anyone provide me with some contacts at real wholesale distribution companies, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Forget wholesale, you wont find it unless you buy straight from the manufacturer.

I get all my electronics from freebie sites ever since i saw that NBC report. There’s a link in my profile to them.

I’m looking for wholesale distributors of electronics. can anyone help?

Friday, May 28th, 2010

Whatever you want to buy, whether it is Nintendo Wii’s, Sony plasmas, or Canon cameras, you need to go to the source. Call up Nintendo, call up Sony and everyone else who’s stuff you want. But any manufacturer that produces any product of quality will only deal with legitimate, established businesses. To start with you will probably need to have a brick and mortar retail establishment just to open an account with them. The fact that you are asking a question like this on Yahoo! Answers identifies you as someone new to this industry, my advice to you is to be careful and realize when you are wasting your money and more importantly your time. If you are trying to make some quick money on eBay you need to do something else.

If you are looking for iPhones you are not going to find them, Apple only sells direct.

I see below on some of the responses that some people have listed websites for wholesale distributors but after you click the link you’ll find out they are just asking you for money just for them to tell you where to go, they don’t have any real product.

can i be wholesale distributor for all branded consumer electronics & IT Products?

Saturday, May 15th, 2010

I want to become wholesale distributor for all major electronics manufacturers.Is it possible simultaneously to be distributor for both apple and microsoft products? Distributor for both LG & Samsung?AMD & INTEL? etc…
Because its very difficult for retailers to source from different distributors and create a robust supply chain.Also there is lot of revenue in wholesale distribution(B2B).
If not possible then what are other ways to do business in this segment?

well if you have named some other company i could suggest you something but Apple, Microsoft, LG, Sam sung, Intel…I think these name are bigger then your height ( no offense) These company’s are so big so cannot even dream about unless until you are filthy rich. As a matter if fact they have there own distribution operation & handled with the help of multi-millon software. Answer to your 2nd question do R& D on their site if you can get some job or sales position in their distribution centers. Good Luck
