I am interested in getting into DIY. One thing I am wondering, all synthesizers have filters, how do they make them? can I go to an electronics distributor and buy a filter? Or do I have to construct the filter from lower level components. I know I am attempting to condense a complex subject, but any help would be appreciated.

If you want to get into DIY synthesizers you really should check both PAiA Corporation at http://www.paia.com and Blacet Research at http://www.blacet.com They both sell all kinds of analog synthesizer modules in kit form including some cool VCF’s (voltage controlled filters). The PAiA VCF for example is a dual VCF module with a built in LFO (low frequency oscillator). Also check out the Blacet links page for more ideas. They list a source for the CEM chips that are basically synth modules on a chip. You might want to look into them if you want to make your own filter from scratch.

Hi guys i do ebay for a living bc sadly my husband works as a supervisor in construction and does not make enough money I doing ok on ebay but still can’t catch up on bills I want to expand this job and wnat to get into dropship ….. I have to find a distributor . Do you guys know of a good company and what this all abut . I like to sell clothing or women accessories, that is the only thing i am good at not electronics. I want to make more money on ebay other than my items please help and if you do the same give me some advice . I don’t want to struggle in life anymore and would like to take my children to Disney or so . I am so tired of working paycheck to paycheck please help Just a comment i feel mad everytime i see a celebrity buying a 200,00 jewlery or so when i would have to work 3 yrs to make that kind of income . Doesn’t that make you feel terrible??? I want to start making more money. I have plenty of energy and desire to make money!!

I suggest that you get an account with UPS or Fed X. Not only will they come to your house to p/u your freight they will bill you later. It is not that expensive. I have used them myself.

I am looking into starting up my own business of sellin electronics online, but I am trying to find a good wholesale distributor where I will actually make a profit. I’ve already looked into D&H and they don’t offer that great of a deal. So, I am just wondering where do all these people buy there electronics from that they are selling on these auction sites to actually make a profit?

You need to find some manufacturers or wholesale seller that can offer you much cheaper rates compared to resellers. I would suggest you some reliable B2B websites to locate some suppliers and products and to contact some suppliers to find best deals. Distributors are so hard to find. I have a resale permit, and a few distributors, but I would like to have other options. Is there a good website or publication or maybe a tradeshow coming up soon?

you can use overstock.com alibaba.com ebay.com etc. I used to use alibaba which is great because it gives rankings from other users experiences and also have a guarantee with alibaba as premium sellers

You can check on this site. They have thousands of merchants who can have the items you need at greatly discounted prices.
