What is the differance between Techno and electronic? Also, what is the differance between electronic music and electronica? (Electronic with an A at the end.) If there isn’t a difference between electronic and electronica, why do they use both? My MP3 player is getting cluttered with "Techno" "Electronic" "General electronic" and "Electronica" all by the same artist, and I’m just wondering why they are all different.

Electronic Music (or sometimes known as Electronic Dance Music, EDM) is a term used to identify any music using electronic music instruments or technology. Electronic Music is the main genre and everything else are sub-genres. Usually Electronic is not used to describe a single song unless it combines the characteristics of many sub-genres, but I think iTunes and other music players are a bit stupid with the automatic genres they put on. It’s best to edit and put what you want on so it’s not all cluttered.

Electronica is a sub-genre of Electronic. It’s used to identify newer, contemporary music or crossover genres (folktronica, indietronica, funktronica etc). It usually combines different instruments that are not all electronic, with electronic instruments.

Techno is a bit different. Techno is also sub-genre of Electronic. The beats are harder and heavier, and the music is very high-tempo. I think it’s quite easy to identify Techno music by the sound. Scooter are an example band.

How common is having an electronic organizer among college students? I never noticed my friends having one though. However, I thought it will be helpful since I am always disorganized during school time. Another question, can you suggest good but affordable types of electronic organizers?

i’ve never seen anyone using an electronic organizer.. if they do use one, it’s probably using their blackberry or something like that.

don’t waste your money.. most schools give out planners with self-organizing tips anyway. if you really need one after the first semester, then get one.

I use a Timeline brand CG-1000 electronic air filter in my air handler. Electronic air filters, as opposed to electrostatic ones, filter air using a charged electrical grid plus filter pads.

I found mine a bit of a struggle to replace, but it has kept my coil completely clean now for 3 years. I just vacuum it monthly, and change the pads about every 3 months. I had to replace the filter assembly after 3 years as the thing failed on me.

I would like to hear your experiences.

I have seen some that are really good, and some that would make good anchors. Unfortunately, the good ones seem to be the most expensive.

If what you have is working for you, and you are happy with it, then it’s a good one!

I know Kraftwerk and Oval, anyone else? Anyone from any aspect of the electronic genre, no matter how diverse. Just some good, influential German electronic.

This is not a question about whether mine is accurate, not a question about how to repair one, and it’s not a question about whether to trust car dealers and garages. It’s just a curiosity question which is what it is, basically: Why doesn’t the electronic odometer blank off and lose it’s number when the current is disconnected or dies on a car?

I am not sure whether in my new Nissan should I get the rust protection coating done or shoueld I just get the new Electronic Rust Protection device. Anybody speak for the Electronic device that would be great because most people don;t even know it existed.

I recommend neither. Vehicle paint and corrosion inhibitors have advanced a great deal, and this is a service that I believe is not necessary on new vehicles. The components that are prone to corrosion problems are suspension components anyway, and not body parts and they will not help with this. Do not waste any of your money on these unnecessary services.
